Usually during festive rites, the pharaoh and his entourage, in the presence of people, rode in a chariot pulled by beautiful horses. Sometimes horseshoes flew off the horses' hooves and became a “trophy” for ordinary Egyptians. It would seem, what kind of luck is this? The thing is that the horseshoes of the pharaoh's horses were golden! Such a find turned the owner of the horseshoe into a rich person. In different cultures of the world, this amulet is treated very similarly, everywhere the horseshoe is considered a symbol of good luck, protection, wealth. According to legend, the devil, demon or any other representative of evil spirits, for some reason, always walks exclusively in a circle. The effect of a horseshoe on evil forces is magical, the devil, being near the horseshoe, will be forced to walk endlessly forward, backward, in circles, unable to approach the horseshoe. Paradoxically, even... the church sought protection using a horseshoe to protect itself from evil spirits. It is well known that a horseshoe is embedded in one of the portals of a church in Suffolk (Great Britain). Everyone has heard of the famous Admiral Nelson, but few know that on his ship "Victoria" one of the masts was decorated with a horseshoe as a symbol of good luck. No less famous is the legend of Saint Dunstan, who, according to ancient legend, was a great blacksmith. One day the devil himself came to his forge, demanding that his hooves be forged. However, the clever blacksmith chained the devil to the wall and began to beat him. The devil could not stand it and asked to let him go. The blacksmith agreed, but only in exchange for a promise to never, under any circumstances, cross the threshold of a house with a horseshoe hanging above the door and not approach the owner of the horseshoe.
